These organizations have not only worked continuously in the spread awareness about windsurfing, but also helped windsurfers in the improvement of sports facilities. Become a part of these organizations to help amateurs to improve their athletic skills as well as with regular interaction with other surfers.

The most important associations of windsurfing

There are many clubs, especially in the U.S. and Europe, which play an important role in the list of key organizations in the world of windsurfing.

Professional Windsurfers Association (PWA): PWA is a leading and one of the oldest associations of windsurfing. The PWA organizes some of the most sought-after international throughout the years. PWA World Tour, probably the biggest sporting event for windsurfing and has the World Cup and Grand Slam tournaments for each discipline of windsurfing. For two decades, attended the PWA World Cup some of the best performances of all the great masters of the sport. It was at the instigation of the PWA Windsurfing that the new rules are set and the new international events will be sanctioned. Jimmy Diaz is currently the President of the PWA, while Phil McGain is the Vice President.
